Hope you enjoy the before and after of our master bedroom. The room is very small for a master but the extra tall ceilings help to make it not feel as small!
Navy and pink are the accent colors. The pink drapes (from the Dwellover contest) make a big difference. They are also blackout lined which makes sleeping in a lot easier on weekends!
Some befores...the first two are with the previous owners stuff...YIKES! I don't know why but I don't have any before anything was done that show the whole room.. please notice a window unit and METAL bifold doors...I didn't even know those existed!
Notice that line down the wall...yes that is the ceiling fan wiring on the outside of the wall (this is where you are questioning why I bought this place, right?!)
Some progress...goodbye ugly fan, wiring into the walls, popcorn ceiling scrapes away, and fresh paint! ahh!! The ceilings are so tall we had to rent two sections of scaffolding to get to the ceiling!
Then came paint on the walls, new fan, and new floors!!!! (Notice the metal doors are gone!!! yay!)
Now the fun part...AFTERs!!
I am constantly debating if I should refinish my vanity. It has seen better days, yet it was my grandmothers and she got ready here everyday and would paint me and my sisters nails here when we were little (which is prob where some of the wear and tear is from!)
The bedside tables are Ikea Besta units I mounted to the floor to give the illusion of more space. I then added large brass ring pulls to dress them up. Also learn more about my super easy DIY art here.
OK..I have to point this out...notice my ONE bottle of perfume and his TEN...who's the diva?!
Just to show the ceiling height...which definitely helps the space not feel as small as it actually is!
Hope you enjoyed!
